Completing requirements for admission to the Arabellan Society are the Rev. Kathryn Rust, First Congregational Church, Mukwonago, Wisconsin; newly named Executive Committee Chairman the Rev. Dr. Roy E. Backus, Olivet Congregational Church, Olivet, Michigan; and the Rev. Dr. Steven Peay, First Congregational Church of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin.

The Arabella Society, named for the ship that brought the Boston Colony to the New World, is for clergy who came to the NACCC other than through the Congregational Foundation for Theological Studies (CFTS). To qualify, a minister must take the Boston Seminar for Congregational History and Polity, read books, write book reports, and write a 20-30 page research paper.
