The Secretary of the NACCC records the actions of Annual Meetings and actions of the NACCC Executive Committee. Those records become a vital part of the history of the NACCC and the Congregational Way, and their preparation requires a person of outstanding secretarial ability and understanding of NACCC procedures.
For the past ten years, Lois Heilmann has occupied this position with extreme competence and dedication, as have her predecessors.
With Lois’ retirement, the NACCC seeks a person of comparable skill and dedication. A job description is available from the NACCC office on request.
You may be that person. If you are interested, please submit a résumé to:

Joan Smith, a retired teacher, has most of her money invested in CD’s. As these renew shortly, she realizes she will be lucky to get more than 4-5 percent on renewal–and even that rate ties up her money for a long time period.
Through a friend Joan learned about Gift Annuities and, being a loyal Congregationalist, she wanted to help our NACCC. She found she could set up a gift annuity and, at her age, receive a guaranteed income of 9 percent annually for the rest of her life! This is substantially more than her income from CD’s. And–her real yield form the gift annuity would be considerably more than 9 percent because she gets an immediate income tax deduction for a large percentage of the gift and part of her income will be tax free! It would, in fact, be about three times the yield of her CD’s!
Joan also knows she would be making a very meaningful, lasting gift to the National Association of Congregational Christian Churches and its work. She said, "It’s nice to know you can do this much good and benefit others while benefiting yourself as well."
You can find out more about this type of income and gift by filling out the form below and mailing it to the NACCC office, or phone (800)262-1620.

Again this year the Communication Services Committee of the National Association of Congregational Christian Churches will be sponsoring a play contest. We believe that theatre provides a unique and useful tool for communicating the Congregational way. The winning play will be presented as readers’ theatre at the 49th Annual NACCC Meeting in 2003. The winner of the blind judging will receive a plaque and monetary award.
